The Area Sales Manager (PLT) is the responsible interface between the company and the national distributors for PLT (Passenger Car, Van, SUV and 4×4) in the respective markets in the region.
He is implementing the PLT commerical strategy for Company and associated brands through the national distributor
Furthermore it is his responsibility to develop all sales channels with the support of the national distributors for PLT.
The Area Sales Manager (PLT) ensures the achievement of the sales objectives and annual targets (e.g. volumes, market shares and CMC) set by the Head of Sales, reflecting and living the values of the company.
Secure the achievement of sales targets p.a. in respective region in terms of volumes, market shares and CMC
Implement the commercial strategy for PLT in respective markets
Coordinate Retail Development and Marketing Activities to achieve the defined targets per market
Report to management on market and customer development, incl. competition
Develop the markets with the existing national distributors of the company and associated brands in terms of activating new sales channels
Identify new business opportunities in the market and implement the joint strategy (incl. key topics for future development)
Develop the marketing plan with the national distributor and follow-up on the implementation
Visit the market to have an understanding of the market development / environment at any time
